Gummies are something that I have been absolutely loving lately, I really wish that someone had clued me in earlier to how great they are for tissue repair and gut health! Gelatin is actually a pure protein source that is derived from collagen – this recipe uses the Nutra Organics Natural Gelatin powder which is sustainably sourced from grass fed bovine within Australia. That means that this recipe is not vegetarian or vegan, sorry folks.
The coconut milk makes them super creamy, I find its the best way to carry the chocolate flavour and also hide the cheeky spoonful of spirulina powder I have in this recipe (you could also sub for beetroot powder, nobody would know it). They freeze well and make quite a large batch (approx 500g total), a great one to share with loved ones.
