Last updated: May 2026

1. We Respect Your Privacy

Nourishin Pty Ltd respects your right to privacy and is committed to safeguarding the privacy of our customers, website users, and mobile application users. We adhere to the Australian Privacy Principles established by the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). This policy sets out how we collect and treat your personal information.

2. Collection of Personal Information

We may collect personal information you provide via the Nourishin website or app, including:

  • Name, email address, phone number, and address
  • Information provided through feedback, wellness or postpartum settings, Circle of Support posts, surveys, or form submissions
  • Business and professional information submitted via Nourishin Village EOI forms (e.g. company name, location, services offered, qualifications, and registration details) and Village profile settings

User accounts are identifiable by name and email. This information is stored securely and not shared publicly. Users may also voluntarily submit sensitive information such as dietary requirements or location data (e.g. meal drop addresses). You control what you share and may update or delete your information.

We review all Village EOI applications before approval; however, we do not take responsibility for the business practices, qualifications, or insurance of directory members.

3. How We Collect It

Personal information is collected when you:

  • Interact with us via the app or website
  • Submit forms, profiles, or feedback
  • Register or update your account
  • Contact support or participate in community features
  • Apply to list as a provider in the Nourishin Village Directory

We may also receive data from integrated third-party services.

4. Use of Personal Information

Your information may be used to:

  • Provide platform functionality and support
  • Create or manage directory listings (with your consent)
  • Send service or product updates
  • Customise your experience within the app
  • Respond to requests or technical issues

For directory providers, information from your EOI form is used to create a listing after subscription and approval. Your public listing content – including business name, location, services, and contact details – is displayed publicly as part of the Village Directory. By submitting a listing, you consent to this public display.

Email addresses are also used to assign mailing groups via MailerLite.

5. Disclosure of Personal Information

Your data may be shared only when necessary with:

  • Our internal team
  • Email marketing providers (MailerLite)
  • Website and platform infrastructure providers (WordPress, JetEngine, Firebase, AWS)
  • Payment processors (WooCommerce and associated payment gateway)
  • Legal authorities where required by law

We do not sell or rent your personal information. All partners are required to handle your data in accordance with applicable privacy laws.

6. Food-Related Information

You may choose to submit dietary requirements or meal drop address details when coordinating support. This information is not monitored or verified by Nourishin.

We are not responsible for the safety, handling, or preparation of meals exchanged between users.

Users are responsible for clearly communicating dietary needs and for assessing meals before consumption.

7. Village Directory Transparency

We vet Village directory applicants before approval, but Nourishin is not responsible for verifying the insurance, licensing, or conduct of listed businesses.

Any contact between users and Village members happens outside of Nourishin’s oversight.

8. Cookies

Our website uses cookies – small text files stored on your device – to improve your browsing experience, remember your preferences, and gather analytics data. You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect some website functionality. We do not use cookies to identify you personally without your consent.

9. Security

We maintain physical, technical, and organisational safeguards to protect your personal data. However, no method of digital storage or transmission is completely secure.

10. Access and Corrections

You may request access to or correction of the personal information we hold about you. Contact us at support@nourishin.com.au for assistance. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles.

11. Village Directory – Subscription and Profile Data

Users who submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) for the Nourishin Village may have their information processed by our team to create a public-facing profile after approval and subscription. This includes business name, location, website, service description, and selected categories. Profiles are editable by the user. Subscription status and data are used to manage visibility and feature access.

Information is also used for tagging and communication via MailerLite and for assigning roles within the Nourishin platform.

Our commitment:

  • Zero-Tolerance Policy: Any content or behaviour that facilitates CSAE is strictly prohibited.
