Founded by Paediatric Nurse Consultant Ilana Lawrence, The Sick Sense combines over 14 years of paediatric emergency and advanced nursing experience with practical, evidence based education that families can use every day.
Unlike traditional first aid courses, The Sick Sense goes beyond CPR. Through workshops, online education and practical resources, families learn how to recognise signs of serious illness, manage common childhood conditions at home where appropriate, know when to seek medical care and confidently advocate for their child. The goal isn't to create fear. It's to build calm, confident families through health literacy.
