Empowering Mothers
Est. 2023

Practical, in-home postpartum support including nourishing meals, household help and emotional support for new mothers.

Introduction

At the heart of my brand is a deep passion for supporting mothers through one of the biggest transitions of their lives. I believe postpartum care should never be a luxury - every woman deserves support, nourishment, education and village. Through practical help, honest conversations and evidence-based guidance, my mission is to help mothers feel seen, supported and empowered in motherhood and to grow the Empowering Mothers Postpartum doulas of Australia.

Offerings

I offer 3 or 4-hour in-home postpartum support visits, tailored to the unique needs of each mother and family.

My role is to help lighten the load so mothers can focus on recovery, bonding with their baby and adjusting to life with a newborn. Every family is different, and every visit is shaped around what support feels most valuable in that moment.

Support may include preparing nourishing meals and baked goods, grocery collection, laundry, light household tasks, changing bed linen and helping keep the home running smoothly. Many mothers tell me that simply having someone take care of the little things allows them to slow down, rest and truly enjoy their baby.

For some families, support means caring for baby while mum showers, rests, sleeps, attends appointments or simply takes a moment for herself. For others, it may be helping with feeding, settling, sibling support or creating a calm and nurturing environment during those early weeks.

I provide a warm, non-judgemental space where mothers can talk openly about their experience. I listen, offer evidence-based guidance when requested and help build confidence as mothers navigate the challenges and joys of the postpartum period. My goal is never to tell mothers what they should do, but to help them feel supported and empowered to make the decisions that feel right for their family.

I can also support older siblings, allowing mothers to spend one-on-one time with their children or baby as needed. I may bring activities for older children, help with school pick-ups, or simply provide an extra pair of hands during busy moments.

As part of my care, I often prepare homemade nourishing meals and baked goods in your own kitchen for you to enjoy throughout the week. Food has a beautiful way of making a home feel cared for, and nourishing mothers is one of my favourite parts of this work.

Whether you need practical help around the home, emotional support, nourishing food, a listening ear or simply someone in your corner, my care is designed around what will best support you and your family during the postpartum period.
