Meet Olivia Harding – Nourishin’s Founder who is a mother, passionate foodie and designer by trade – who experienced her own challenges with finding the right support in postpartum. Olivia reflected that whilst trying to decode and cater for the needs of her newborn and also manage the identity shift into a mother was no small feat. She came to the realisation that the concept of the traditional village and circle of support has been lost, whether thanks to distance, time or things simply falling into the “too hard” basket.
This sparked the big idea – that she wanted to help modern Australian families rally their loved ones for the support they wanted and needed. Nourishin was introduced to the world in December 2022, but it took 9 months of working hard during naps and late nights to design, develop and launch the MVP of the Nourishin app in September 2023. The app is currently free to download on both iOS and Android to organise or provide support, to help Aussie and Kiwi families thrive with the support they want, when they need it.
Nourishin is a brand that is dedicated to creating tools and resources that empower women and their families to thrive through their pregnancy, into the fourth trimester and beyond. Here are some assets you may want to utilise:
